据报道，柬埔寨官方公布的数据显示，2013年上半年，柬埔寨服装加工业持续强劲表现，成衣出口占全部出口的70%。此外，基础设施建设的拉动作用明显。
柬埔寨官方称，全球经济危机以前，柬埔寨基础设施项目吸引外资约为100亿美元，但从2009年开始减少至58亿美元。近期，随着中国、日本以及泰国等国对柬投资增多，基础设施项目建设渐入正轨。柬埔寨经济增长2014年有望达到7%。
