昨日，记者从新中山桥施工现场了解到，新桥的24根桩基施工完工，施工工人正在扎钢筋为新桥桥墩浇筑做准备。
据介绍，新的中山桥将加宽12-15米，增加2条车道，为6车道，并增设一条观景步行长廊，供市民和游客观看抚河两岸和滕王阁美景。
