Looking back at the rings of history, the 1980s was an era of surging ideas. After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee in 1978, the whole country entered the great tide of reform and opening up, and going into business became a trend of the time. By then, Ha Guohua had already honed superb vehicle driving skills in a collective unit. Finally, in the late 1980s, he started his own long-distance passenger transport business, which he ran for more than a decade.

    By the late 1990s, as China accelerated the pace of urban and rural construction, Ha Guohua also began trying to contract construction projects, initially by renting other people's construction machinery and equipment. In the early stage, this way of renting equipment could still meet the needs of project construction, but as the amount of work he contracted gradually increased, the many inconveniences of renting equipment became apparent. Because the equipment belonged to others, Ha Guohua always felt that it could not be put to full use, and there were also many difficulties in coordinating time and personnel.
