Recently, it was learned from the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission that as of February 23, the resumption rate of 2,345 major provincial engineering projects under construction in Guizhou reached 86%. Among them, Qianxinan Prefecture, Tongren City, and Guiyang City ranked in the top three in the province with resumption rates of 100%, 95.2%, and 94.5%, respectively; Qiannan Prefecture, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Liupanshui City, Zunyi City, and Bijie City all exceeded 80%.

　　Before the Spring Festival, the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission made systematic arrangements for the resumption of major provincial engineering projects, requiring all localities and relevant departments, under the premise of effective epidemic prevention and control, to solidly advance the post-Spring Festival resumption of major engineering projects and give full play to their driving role in high-quality economic and social development.

　　After the Spring Festival, the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission further strengthened the mechanism of supervision and assistance by area, set up special working teams to go to various localities and join local development and reform departments in supervising and assisting the resumption of construction of major provincial engineering projects, coordinating the resolution of existing problems and difficulties, and promoting the projects to resume work as soon as possible. Local development and reform departments adapted measures to local conditions and adopted effective measures to vigorously advance the resumption of major provincial engineering projects, achieving positive results. Among them, Qianxinan Prefecture carried out the "one prevention, two non-stops" (risk prevention, enterprises not stopping production, projects not stopping construction) work; Tongren City provided targeted services focusing on the bottlenecks and difficulties in resuming work; Guiyang City set up a special team to carry out supervision immediately; and all cities (prefectures) made every effort to strengthen the scheduling of raw material reserves, guarantee demand for labor and energy, and create conditions for project resumption by all possible means.

　　"When major projects are stable, the basic foundation of investment and the fundamentals of the economy will be stable." A relevant person in charge of the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission said that the pace of resumption of major provincial engineering projects will be accelerated to ensure 100% resumption by the end of February. At the same time, efforts to start new projects will be intensified to generate more physical work volume and gather momentum to empower Guizhou's high-quality development.
