After the holiday, the Datang Baochang Power Plant Expansion Project, a key energy security construction project in Shenzhen, successfully commenced. Recently, at the project site, workers were seen carrying out construction in an orderly manner, with two concrete mixer trucks simultaneously pouring concrete into the foundation pit for the building foundation cushion pouring.

　　It is reported that this Spring Festival, the company responded to the call and management personnel stayed in Shenzhen for the holiday. Since work started on February 18, all management personnel of the participating units have been in place, some construction workers have arrived, and the site is orderly carrying out bored pile construction, building foundation construction, and circulating water pipeline installation. It is planned that all construction workers will return to their posts on the 26th of this month, fully launching all work.

　　To strengthen work safety, the company strictly implemented Longhua District's "six ones" requirements for post-holiday work resumption and carried out pre-commencement preparations. At the same time, to resolutely implement the epidemic prevention and control strategy of "preventing external import and internal rebound," the company formulated an epidemic prevention and control plan for the expansion project in accordance with relevant requirements, requiring personnel from all participating units to submit health codes and 14-day travel codes and to return to the site only after verification.

　　It is understood that the Datang Baochang Power Plant Expansion Project officially commenced at the end of 2020. The project is located on Renmin Road, Fucheng Subdistrict, with a land area of 82,492 square meters and a building area of 72,620 square meters. It will build two sets of 400 MW gas-steam combined cycle generating units and supporting heat network engineering to provide steam to users within a 6-kilometer radius. The project is a key energy security project in Shenzhen and is scheduled for completion in August 2022. After completion, the designed annual power supply will be approximately 4.8 billion kWh, which will greatly optimize the power grid structure in central Shenzhen and improve the safety and stability of the Longhua power grid; the annual heat supply will be approximately 2.36 million GJ, which will replace more than 100 small industrial boilers in industrial parks within a 6-kilometer radius, further reducing the energy consumption level of industrial enterprises.

　　At present, the pile foundation works of the project have been basically completed, and the main building installation works have completed the main powerhouse foundation excavation and formwork fabrication, as well as the foundation excavation and cushion pouring for the cooling tower and chemical water treatment workshop. With the important milestones of boiler module installation in July this year, main powerhouse water cutoff in August, and station service power reception and qualified chemical water production in December, the project is implementing responsibilities, reversing the construction schedule, working against the clock, and comprehensively strengthening construction safety, quality, and schedule management to fully advance the expansion project construction.
