On February 18, it was learned that with the approval of the provincial government, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission recently issued the plan for the first batch of provincial key construction projects for 2021, arranging a total of 461 projects with a total investment of 1,539.7 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 337.1 billion yuan.

In this year's first batch of provincial key construction project plans for Jiangxi Province, there are 447 implementation projects and 14 preparatory projects. There are 77 projects completed and put into operation, including 23 infrastructure projects, such as the Xingquan Railway (Jiangxi section), the Anqing-Jiujiang Railway (Jiangxi section), and the Nanchang Changbei International Airport T2 Terminal Concourse C Extension and Flight Area Supporting Project, among other major transportation projects that have attracted much attention; there are 201 continued construction projects, including 35 infrastructure projects such as the Yichun-Suichuan, Gan-Wan Border-Wuyuan, and Xunwu-Longchuan expressways. Among the 169 newly started projects, there are 136 industrial transformation and upgrading projects, including the Nanchang High-tech Zone Huaqin Electronics 100-Billion Production Base, the Nanchang Economic Development Zone Konka (Jiangxi) Semiconductor High-tech Industrial Park, and the Northeast Jiangxi (Yugan) Industrial Internet R&D and Application Center; among the 26 newly started infrastructure projects are the Jiangxi section of the Ruimei Railway, the reconstruction and expansion project of the Liyuan (Jiangxi-Zhejiang Border) to Dongxiang section of the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, the new construction project of the Suichuan-Dayu Expressway, and the Phase III Expansion Project of Nanchang Changbei International Airport, among others.
