According to the overall arrangements of the Autonomous Region Department of Transport and the Hohhot Municipal People's Government, and based on the research opinions of Inner Mongolia High-Grade Highway Construction and Development Co., Ltd. and the Municipal Transport Bureau. After joint on-site acceptance by the Municipal Transport Bureau together with traffic police, road administration, and operation and maintenance units, it was determined that in order to quickly bring the highway's social benefits into play, alleviate urban traffic congestion, and facilitate travel for residents along the route.

The first-class highway section from Hohhot to Bikeqi on National Highway 110 was put into use on February 1, 2021. The entire line is built to first-class highway standards, with a total length of 50.079 kilometers, dual carriageways with four lanes, and a speed of 80 km/h. The entire highway runs through four banner districts (Saihan District, Xincheng District, Huimin District, and Tuzuo Banner). The starting point is located on the west side of Luojia营 Interchange in Hohhot, connecting smoothly with the end point K492+468 of the existing G110 line Jining and Hohhot section old road reconstruction and expansion project, passing through Tali Village, Haoqinying, Sanbushu Village, south of the Military Region Shooting Range and south of Daizhouying New Village, East Wusutu, West Wusutu, Yili Pure Water Plant, Dawayao Village, Zhongwayao Village, Xiaowayao Village, and south of Goumen. The end point is located on the west side of Sanjianfang Village in Bikeqi Town, connecting with the starting point of the proposed G110 line Bikeqi to Xieliji section.

The project started construction in August 2017 and passed the main project acceptance at the end of 2020. The project management unit has fully implemented the special traffic plan issued by the design unit. After joint on-site acceptance by the Municipal Transport Bureau together with traffic police, road administration, and operation and maintenance units, in order to quickly bring the highway's social benefits into play, alleviate urban traffic congestion, and facilitate travel for residents along the route, the specific traffic plan is as follows:

1. Small vehicles can pass from Luojia营 Village in Saihan District at the starting point to Sanjianfang Village in Bikeqi Town, Tumd Left Banner.

2. All types of vehicles can pass from Luojia营 Village in Saihan District to National Highway 209 (Yijianfang Interchange). For those heading to Wuchuan, they can exit from Yijianfang Interchange and transfer to G209; large vehicles from National Highway 209 via the 110 line Yijianfang Interchange to Jining can pass normally, while large vehicles heading west to Jinchuan (Baotou) are prohibited.

Temporary traffic facilities have been added according to the above traffic plan. After the highway is open to traffic, drivers are requested to pay attention to temporary directional signs and notices to ensure smooth and safe driving.
