In 2020, Nanchang's provincial key project construction gained strong momentum.

Recently, it was learned from the Nanchang Municipal Development and Reform Commission that in 2020, a total of 43 projects in the city were included in the provincial key construction projects, with a total investment of 199.32 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 29.19 billion yuan. As of the end of 2020, the 43 provincial key construction projects had completed a cumulative investment of 44.86 billion yuan, accounting for 153.7% of the annual planned investment, an increase of 22.7 percentage points over the previous year.

It is understood that in 2020, Nanchang arranged a total of 586 major and key projects in fields such as industry, services, agriculture, urban construction and management, and social welfare, with a total investment of 1,031.67 billion yuan. These 43 provincial key construction projects were the "top priority" among them. To advance the construction of major and key projects, the city highlighted "projects as the guideline" and, following a strategic, systematic, full-chain, full-cycle, information-based, and precision-oriented approach, formulated corresponding coordination and promotion mechanisms. All major and key municipal projects were subject to approval with tolerance for missing materials, and chain-based management was innovatively implemented. Centering on the entire project implementation process, the city sorted out the annual work chains for project advancement, specified the responsible units, responsible persons, and processing deadlines for the key links of each chain, and extended these to project administrative approval and service departments. In accordance with the work chains, the city implemented wall-chart operations and red/yellow light warnings, and conducted supervision, scheduling, assessment, and accountability based on warning conditions.

With the joint efforts of relevant departments, in 2020, Nanchang's major and key projects completed a cumulative investment of 182.49 billion yuan, accounting for 117% of the annual planned investment, an increase of 29.4 percentage points over the previous year.
