The Wumei River Grand Bridge is the third concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge using six-limb steel tubes on a domestic expressway. With a total length of 928 m, it is constructed by the Second Company of CCCC Fourth Highway Engineering Co., Ltd.

It is understood that the Guihuang Expressway (Guiyang–Huangping) is one of the key projects in the "Guizhou Provincial Expressway Network Plan (Densification Plan)", with a total investment of more than 20 billion yuan. The highway is 119 km long, with a designed subgrade width of 33.5 m, a speed of 100 km/h, and six lanes in both directions. Starting from Nanming District, Guiyang, it passes through Longli, Guiding, and Fuquan to Huangping, where it connects with the Yuce Expressway. It is scheduled to open to traffic in June 2021.

The construction of the Guihuang Expressway is of great significance for accelerating economic transformation and development along the route, expanding opening-up, improving the investment environment, and boosting rural revitalization. It has accelerated Huangping County's pace of entering Guiyang's one-hour economic circle.
