On January 24, the Baihe-Baiyun Hanjiang River Bridge in Baihe County achieved full connection. Located at the Shangdukou site in Qingfeng Village, Chengguan Town, Baihe County, the bridge connects to National Highway 316 in the south and to Provincial Highway 304 in Yunxi County, Hubei Province, in the north. With a length of 294 meters and a total investment of more than 76 million yuan, it is one of the key construction projects in Ankang City during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. The erection of the final box girder was completed on January 24, marking the connection of the bridge's main structure. It is expected to officially open to traffic in April 2021.

Once completed, the project will effectively ease the traffic bottleneck pressure on the Xiakazi section of National Highway 316 and end the history of Baihe and Yunxi counties facing each other across the river. In particular, it is of great significance for further improving the road network construction in Shaanxi and Hubei provinces, accelerating the building of the Hanjiang River Ecological Economic Belt, and promoting the interactive development of border trade economies between counties across provincial borders.
