Mr. Yi is at a loss after receiving an exorbitant water bill

Yesterday, staff from the Meihao Property Company of Lishui Jiayuan Community told reporters that since Mr. Yi, the owner of Unit 1-1-303 in Area C, received an exorbitant water bill, over the past two months, six more households have experienced inlet pipe ruptures and leaks.

Meihao Property staff introduced that the community was delivered in 2006, and the developer, Yanhai Green Home Development (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., only transferred the water supply facilities to the Dongxihu Water Company in 2011.

On June 2, after learning of the inlet pipe rupture at Mr. Yi's home, Meihao Property Company sent personnel to replace the ruptured pipe. Maintenance staff reported that when replacing the inlet pipe, they found the material of the pipe here to be poor; inlet pipes typically last about 20 years, but this one ruptured after only 7 years of use.

Personnel from the Sandian Business Office of Dongxihu Water Company also stated after inspecting the site that the cause of the inlet pipe rupture might be substandard material and construction welding. Do these inlet pipes have material certificates and construction qualification certificates? When reporters interviewed Yanhai Green Home Development (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., staff from the engineering department and general department both said they were unaware of the matter.
