On January 13, Pingba District held the centralized groundbreaking ceremony for its January “Top 20” key projects, with a total investment of 6.42 billion yuan.

　　Since the beginning of this year, Pingba District has closely focused on the overall goals of high-quality development, coordinated advancement of the new “Four Modernizations,” and the full launch of the “14th Five-Year Plan” journey, making every effort to strengthen the planning of major projects. In January, it launched the “Top 20” projects with a total investment of 6.42 billion yuan. District leaders are assigned key responsibility for the “Top 20” industrial projects and are prioritizing the advancement of major project construction through the strong promotion of the two “Top 20” initiatives. In accordance with provincial and municipal arrangements, the 39 projects planned for commencement in 2021 are being organized in batches and advanced in a coordinated manner to support the district's investment growth.

　　It is understood that the district has planned and reserved 539 major projects for the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, with a total investment of 281.41 billion yuan and planned investment of 197.826 billion yuan during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period. It has planned and reported 141 provincial and municipal major projects for 2021, with a total project investment of 84.244 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 5.079 billion yuan.
