Recently, the right tunnel of the Xiangshan Road Station–Laoshan Road Station section under Contract 13 of Tianjin Metro Line 10, undertaken by the Rail Company, successfully broke through, marking the full breakthrough of the entire section. During construction, the project department overcame numerous difficulties, including soft strata prone to settlement, abundant groundwater with high water levels, numerous surrounding buildings, and difficulties in muck transport. The team carefully optimized the plan, formulated a scientific and effective construction schedule and safety and quality assurance measures, and exercised strict management to minimize the safety risks of shield tunneling in complex strata, achieving the breakthrough in 86 days.
