该隧道分成左右两个洞，右洞全长3094米、左洞全长3130米，两个洞毗邻相连，洞内拱顶高度7.9米，浄宽15.6米，双向六车道。
隧道穿越了5层含煤地层，最大煤层厚度大于3米，煤层呈斜坡式，隧道跨越煤层的断面较大。
1月8日下午，历经3年的建设，松坎隧道终于全部贯通，接下来就是安装机电、刻划交通安全标志标识、铺设沥青路面等。该工程贯通后，将确保5月份隧道完工并如期交付。
