August 8 morning news: Leveraging its upgraded "industry-city integration + smart town" city-building model, Greenland Group is shaping a new-generation urban complex benchmark across the nation. On August 8, the large-scale complex invested by Greenland Group in Nanchang, Jiangxi with RMB 30 billion——the Greenland Nanchang International Expo City project——officially broke ground, with a planned construction period of 3 years.

The aforementioned Greenland Nanchang International Expo City is a major key project of Jiangxi Province and a demonstration and leading project for Nanchang's new urbanization. It is located in Jiulonghu New Town, Honggutan New District, Nanchang, east of Jiulong Avenue and west of Ganjiang Avenue, with a planned land area of approximately 2,500 mu, a total floor area of approximately 4 million square meters, and a total investment of approximately RMB 30 billion. It is planned to be built into an urban comprehensive landmark complex integrating seven functions: exhibition and conferences, a style town, culture, tourism, business, commerce, and residence.

Greenland Group stated that the project is planned to be completed in 3 years. Upon completion, it is expected to drive local economic output by RMB 60 billion, generate local tax revenue of RMB 14 billion, bring in a population of 180,000, and create 50,000 new jobs. Among these, the International Convention and Exhibition Center of Greenland Nanchang International Expo City, which is the first to start construction, will be led by the convention and exhibition economy and tourism economy and built into the largest and highest-standard international comprehensive convention and exhibition center in south-central China.

Judging from the large number of large-scale complex projects invested and built by Greenland since the beginning of this year, "industry-city integration + smart town" has become the new label of "Greenland-made" urban complexes.

"These projects are characterized by integrating industrial and living functions, comprehensively applying advanced information technology and energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies, and striving to build new towns representing advanced international standards," pointed out Zhang Yuliang, Chairman and President of Greenland Group.

From "building structures" to "equipping functions" and then to "building platforms," this not only signifies the transformation of Greenland's development model, but also embodies the strategic thinking of Greenland's evolution into a "platform-based" enterprise. "Large enterprises should transform into platform-based enterprises," said Zhang Yuliang.

From the simple integration of basic upstream and downstream resources in the development process in the early stage of real estate development, to the international integration of top international design firms and professional construction teams in the process of investing in and building super high-rise projects, from the strategic integration of top commercial and hotel operators and brands in the process of building high-end commercial complexes, to the platform-based integration of industrial park operation and information technology service providers in today's model of building new industrial towns and smart towns, Zhang Yuliang said that the "platform-based" business model is today's most dynamic business model with the greatest development prospects.
