At 9:30 a.m. on August 3, the final steel beam of Shanghai Tower was hoisted into place, achieving the topping out of the 580-meter main structure and marking the birth of China's tallest building. It is understood that during the construction of Shanghai Tower, as of now, a total of 23 Sany pumping equipment units have been involved in the work, pouring 60,000 cubic meters for the foundation slab and more than 90,000 cubic meters for the main structure. Among them, the "King of Chinese Pumps" once again set a new record for single-pump vertical pumping height, reaching 580 meters.
