World's First Walking Uphill/Downhill Girder Erection Crane
This mast-type girder erection crane was specially designed and manufactured for the Delongyan Yellow River Grand Bridge in Shandong. Because the bridge features a novel structural design, relatively special and complex construction methods, and a large deck arch slope, construction is extremely difficult. To this end, engineers and technicians at Wuchiao Heavy Industry broke with tradition and, after half a year of tackling key problems, developed and manufactured the world's first girder erection crane capable of climbing slopes, descending slopes, and crossing arch crowns on bridges. It successfully completed all on-site tests and fully met the design and on-site construction requirements, filling a gap in this field worldwide.
