　　At around 10 a.m. the day before yesterday, Lai Junbing, certified as a "news commentator," posted on Tencent Weibo: "This morning, Master Wang Lin set up scaffolding in front of his residence in Luxi County, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, and removed the gilded characters 'Wang Fu.' According to Qiu Wulin, this was the owner's wish." Photos in the Weibo post show scaffolding in front of Wang Lin's residence, with workers seemingly at work; the originally gilded characters "Wang Fu" on the door had indeed been removed, leaving white marks. At 18:45 on August 2, netizen "Wen Tao striving for a Cayenne" posted a photo on Weibo, saying that people had come to remove the sign at the Wang Fu gate, and exclaimed, "The master's sign has only been up for over a month and it's already fallen!" The photo shows workers removing the two characters "Wang Fu."

　　Lai Junbing confirmed to reporters the night before last that the removal began on August 2 and has now been cleaned up. According to him, at 10 a.m. the day before yesterday, a friend sent him photos and he learned of the matter; he then verified with Wang Lin's disciple Qiu Wulin and learned it was "the owner's wish," not done by outsiders.

　　Previously circulated photos and public reports indicate that Wang Lin's "Wang Fu" in Luxi County is located at No. 213 Renmin West Road, a main road in the county seat. CCTV's "Focus Interview" program previously mentioned that "Wang Lin's residence covers an area of more than ten mu," with several courtyards, and "the entire residence was not only renovated last year, but a row of storefront rooms was newly built at the facade," and said some people reported it as suspected illegal construction.

　　In response, Wang Bin, deputy director of the Luxi County Planning Bureau, previously replied that "Wang Fu" was a renovation of an old house and was not illegal. It is said that Wang Lin bought the old house in the 1990s and then demolished and rebuilt it; the planning bureau initially approved the layout renovation of Wang Lin's house.

　　The day before yesterday, after the sign was removed from the luxury villa "Wang Fu" of "Qigong Master" Wang Lin in Luxi County, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, three villas were exposed in Yichun City. The villas of Master Wang Lin exposed in Yichun City are respectively one in Haiyi Villa on Yihu Road and two on Zhangzhu Road (next to Zhujialing and Ziwei Villa). At the same time, "Qigong Master" Wang Lin was closely associated with former Yichun Municipal Party Secretary Song Chenguang and former Yichun Municipal Standing Committee member and former Yuanzhou District Party Secretary Gong Xishui, and once undertook key projects in Yichun City, and built multiple villas in Yuanzhou District and Yifeng County of Yichun City. After Song Chenguang was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve for corruption, Gong Xishui was placed under investigation by the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission for suspected serious violations of discipline.

　　Yesterday, a case filing notice issued by the Luxi County Public Security Bureau stated that "Master" Wang Lin was placed under investigation by Luxi police for suspected illegal possession of firearms. The notice was issued on August 1 and shows that the Luxi Public Security Bureau determined that the "Wang Lin illegal gun possession case" met the conditions for filing and decided to investigate, with the handling agency being the Public Security Brigade of the Luxi County Public Security Bureau.
