7月1日下午，厦门地铁4号线丙洲岛站至城场站高架区间BC50-51号墩最后一孔收口梁混凝土正在浇筑作业，按计划将在当晚8点左右浇筑工作全部完成，届时地铁4号线丙城高架区间实现顺利贯通。
厦门地铁4号线一期工程为岛外环湾快线，设计时速120千米/小时，起于后溪，途经集美区、同安区、翔安区，止于翔安新机场，线路全长约44.78千米，共设车站12座。计划与翔安新机场同步建成，建成后将连接厦门北站和翔安机场站两大交通枢纽，运行时长少于30分钟，形成快速互联互通，支撑环湾发展。
据介绍，丙城区间连接着同安区丙洲岛站和翔安区城场站，位于海翔大道北侧，区间全长3.8公里。跨海段主桥采用悬臂浇筑法（挂篮）施工，已于今年6月13日顺利合龙。丙城区间为全桥高架区间，跨越同安湾海域和滨海东大道琼头立交及多条既有道路，施工安全风险高、文明施工要求严，海上施工组织及交通疏解任务重。
