在新都区的11个点位上，2013年为民办实事民生工程现场会同时推进，各点位的负责人向市民代表介绍了上述点位民生项目的进展。从新繁小学交接仪式到三河街道回龙幼儿园动工，从香樟园团结安置小区暨团结农贸市场动工到检查新城区人民医院工程进展，市民关心的问题都得到了当面回复。
在今年的民生项目中，新都区正在建设的重大交通项目有G108线川陕路新都城区段改造工程，现主车道已基本完成。同时还有泰兴至石板滩和龙泉驿区的兴业大道改扩建工程，现正进行路基和桥涵施工。下一步，新都区马超东路东延线、三河大道西段(绕城高速货运大道立交与万石路的连接线)、成金青快速路新都段的改扩建工程也将启动。
