　　Two years ago, after only three years on the job, Liu Xiaoyu was appointed director of the legal contracts department of Beijing Construction Engineering Group Fourth Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Fourth Construction Company). However, Liu Xiaoyu recalls that when she received the appointment, what she felt was more pressure than joy, and one question kept lingering in her mind: how to carry out the work and lead the team to play its greatest role.

　　In 2011, the Fourth Construction Company's employee contract management software went online, with more than 1,700 engineering contracts of various types entered. The legal contracts department needed to review 1,288 contracts of various types, averaging four contracts per day. Among them were 74 general engineering contracting contracts, 1,158 subcontracting and supply contracts, and 56 contracts for functional departments. That year the company had 16 legal lawsuits, involving a total amount of 3.312 million yuan. "Our job is to review all kinds of contracts every day, and on top of ensuring the completion of routine work, we had an additional task: getting the Fourth Construction Company's contract management software officially online," Liu Xiaoyu said.

　　Getting the Fourth Construction Company's contract management software online was Liu Xiaoyu's first important task after taking office. According to Liu Xiaoyu, at the time the Fourth Construction Company had originally planned to officially launch the employee contract management software before the end of the year, but in order to launch it simultaneously with the company's fund management software, the leadership decided to complete the launch half a year ahead of schedule, leaving only four short months until the launch date.

　　According to Li Chao, a staff member of the legal contracts department, when the task was assigned, the department had only four staff members, one of whom was a new employee who had just started work and was unfamiliar with all aspects of the business, so the difficulty can well be imagined. To ensure the software went online smoothly, he assisted Liu Xiaoyu in taking full charge of the work, while the department's routine work could only be left to the other two employees, and everyone's workload increased several times over.

　　To achieve the goal of launching the contract management software, Liu Xiaoyu, as both manager and executor of the work, practiced her commitment to the company through her own actions. In just four months, she worked overtime every day, even on Saturdays and Sundays. From communication with company leaders and various business departments to the implementation of specific matters, and from business training for contract administrators at grassroots units to the trial operation of the contract management software, Liu Xiaoyu was personally involved in everything. Especially when emergencies arose, she was always the first to step forward and solve the problem.

　　After four months of hard work, they finally achieved the goal of launching the contract management software simultaneously with the fund management software, and completed multiple tasks including setting up the company's contract software functions, building the platform, and establishing systems. They realized standardized contract management across the entire company, and the company's contract information management platform was initially established, effectively improving contract management efficiency.

　　Today, the Fourth Construction Company's contract management software has been running for nearly half a year. The contract management software platform now covers all of the company's projects under construction and has basically achieved multiple management goals such as online declaration, approval, signing, data statistics, and analysis reporting of the company's engineering contracts, enabling the company to take an important step forward in informationization.
