The connecting passage between the Huawei Bantian Base in the Bantian Subdistrict of Bantian Science and Technology City, Shenzhen, and Huawei Station on Urban Rail Transit Line 10: the pipe-jacking design is divided into four sections in total, all with a cross-section of 10.2m×6.6m and jacking lengths of 138.3m, 61.2m, 143.9m, and 85.6m respectively; the pipe-jacking section on Longping Road has a cross-section of 8.1m×4.9m and a jacking length of 46.6m; the total jacking length of the five sections is 475.6m. The geology traversed by the passage pipe-jacking works consists mainly of plain fill, with local gravelly cohesive soil. Numerous underground pipelines are distributed above the passage pipe-jacking, and the minimum vertical clear distance between the pipelines and the pipe-jacking is only about 0.7m.


　　This project deploys 4 pieces of equipment for simultaneous construction. With a tight schedule and high technical requirements, it poses a great challenge to the construction organization and management capabilities of Guangzhou Jintu. As the New Year approaches, the frontline employees of Guangzhou Jintu, sacrificing their own family reunions for the sake of the broader team, remained at their frontline posts during the Spring Festival. They made tremendous contributions to ensuring uninterrupted construction during the Spring Festival and completing the milestone schedule on time. Recently, the two pipe-jacking sections crossing Wuhe Avenue and Longping Road were successfully completed—a first victory! In the upcoming construction, Guangzhou Jintu will strictly follow the requirements of the owner and the design, carry forward the spirit of Lu Ban, carefully organize construction, strictly control construction quality, overcome technical difficulties, and keep up the efforts to strive for the complete fulfillment of the remaining rectangular pipe-jacking construction tasks of the Huawei Station connecting passage project in the Bantian Subdistrict of Bantian Science and Technology City, Shenzhen.
