近日，福州地铁4号线螺帝区间（螺洲镇站～帝封江站）左线于全线率先实现贯通。螺帝区间左线全长1222.874米，覆土厚度为9.9-23.8米，整个区间采用盾构法施工，盾构机由螺洲镇站始发，掘进至在帝封江站接收后吊出。
福州地铁4号线一期工程起于橘园洲站，终于帝封江站，线路全长28.5km，设站23座。项目弥补主城区路网东部片区的缺失，连接了金山工业集中区、洪山科技园、东街商业中心、东二环泰禾广场、鳌峰金融中心、东部办公区、海峡国际会展中心等区域。福州地铁4号线计划2023年12月建成通车。
