Yin Weizhen, director of the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, introduced that in the first half of the year, investment in key urban construction projects in our province exceeded expectations. Around advancing the expansion and quality improvement of new urbanization and the upgrading of infrastructure construction, all localities accelerated the pace of industry-city integration, planned and prepared a number of major projects of long-term significance, and municipal infrastructure investment has completed 84.2% of the annual target task. Notable results were achieved in coordinated urban-rural development and green ecological construction. The province newly built and renovated about 290 kilometers of sewage pipelines, and a total of 136 urban domestic sewage treatment plants and 61 waste treatment facilities have been built and put into operation.

According to statistics, in the first half of the year, the total output value of the province's construction industry is expected to reach 330 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.6%; survey and design operating revenue was 28.06 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.1%.
