At the meeting, Vice President Xia Zhihong, who is in charge of the Group Operations Center, delivered a keynote report titled "Sunward Equipment Group 2013 Semi-Annual Business Work Summary." The report provided a detailed account of the Group's various business indicators in the first half of 2013, the achievements made in its work, and the existing problems. Having weathered last year's market winter, Sunward seized market opportunities in the first half of the year, with some products achieving solid results, and first-half profits growing substantially compared with the same period last year. Building on the keynote report, business units such as the Excavator Company and the Foundation Equipment Business Division, along with functional departments such as the Technology Center and the Marketing General Company, shared their respective first-half achievements and proposed improvement measures for existing problems as well as key work plans for the second half of the year. In particular, Group Vice President Tuo Xinlin also delivered a dedicated report titled "Work Report on Standardized Management of the Excavator Company," aimed at improving overall labor productivity, achieving efficiency-driven growth, and building a high-capability, high-efficiency, and highly rewarded human resources team.
