The Overall Evaluation of the Power of China's Hunan Merchants is a comprehensive review of the outstanding achievements and prominent contributions of the Hunan merchant community in China's economic development. It is co-hosted by the Hunan Federation of Industry and Commerce, Hunan Daily, and the organizing committee of the Overall Evaluation of the Power of China's Hunan Merchants, and co-organized by Hunan Daily's "Hunan Merchants Era" weekly and Tianxia Xiangshang Network. It is a large-scale economic awards event featuring six major lists: the Top Ten Influential Figures, Top Ten Emerging Figures, Top Ten Chamber of Commerce Presidents, Top Ten Promoters and Institutions, Top Ten Most Investment-Worthy Markets, and Top Ten News Events.

　　Launched in October 2012, the event went through public voting, organizing committee research, and expert review, among other stages. All awards were fully announced on April 25, 2013, and a grand award ceremony was held.
