Indeed, as the netizen said, about 30 meters of road surface in the deceleration area of this section had already undergone serious deformation, becoming full of ruts and bumps, with the deepest about 20 centimeters. On many of the ruts there were also marks left by vehicles being scraped, and the streaks of white lines looked glaring in the sunlight. Because the road surface was uneven, when slowing down to wait for the red light or turning at this section, drivers always carefully moved forward along the direction of the “grooves,” and harsh scraping sounds came from under the vehicles from time to time. “How is this a road? Coupled with factors such as high temperatures, this caused the road surface to bulge and deform. Generally speaking, at intersections where large vehicles frequently pass, this kind of phenomenon is relatively likely to appear on the road surface. “Usually, as long as ruts of more than 1.5 centimeters appear on the road surface, we will carry out maintenance.” He said that the maintenance unit would repair the road surface as soon as possible, and the repair work could be completed in one day.
