Recently, the Second Session of the 13th Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress voted to approve the "Implementation of Shaanxi Province's 2018 National Economic and Social Development Plan and the 2019 National Economic and Social Development Plan." A total of 117 provincial key construction projects with a total investment of more than 74.89 billion yuan will start construction this year. These include a group of major projects related to Xi'an's long-term development and the well-being of its residents, such as Phase III of Xi'an Metro Line 1, Metro Line 8, Metro Line 14, and the Xi'an-Shiyan High-Speed Railway.

　　Xikang High-Speed Railway construction period 2019-2023

　　The Xikang High-Speed Railway (Xi'an–Ankang) is located in Xi'an, Shangluo and Ankang, with a total length of 170.2 km. The construction period is 2019-2023; the total investment is 34.25 billion yuan; the 2019 investment is 300 million yuan, and the construction content is land acquisition and demolition as well as subgrade, bridge and tunnel construction.

　　The Xishi High-Speed Railway (Xi'an–Shiyan) is located in Xi'an and Shangluo, with 166 km of new Xi'an-Shiyan high-speed railway; the construction period is 2019-2023; the total investment is 43.5 billion yuan; the 2019 investment is 800 million yuan, and the construction content is land acquisition and demolition as well as subgrade, bridge and tunnel construction.

　　The Yanyu High-Speed Railway (Yan'an–Yulin) is located in Yan'an and Yulin, with 238 km of new high-speed railway; the construction period is 2019-2023; the total investment is 42.6 billion yuan; the 2019 investment is 200 million yuan, and the construction content is land acquisition and demolition as well as subgrade, bridge and tunnel construction.
