On January 24, with the completion of the final roof slab concrete pouring, the main structure of Dongxin Station on Nanchang Metro Line 4, constructed under the general contracting of China Railway, was successfully topped out, making it the first station on the Nanchang Metro Line 4 project to achieve this milestone.

　　Dongxin Station is a standard two-level underground island-platform station, providing the shield launching conditions for the tunnel section that passes beneath the Gan River. The tunnel section adopts the slurry shield method to cross beneath the Gan River, with a length of 3,055 meters. The project is large in scale, technically challenging, and subject to high quality requirements, making it a key control project on Nanchang Metro Line 4.

　　It is reported that Dongxin Station is located in the water-rich scoured strata of the Gan River floodplain, with a high groundwater level, significant safety risks of water and sand ingress, and complex geological conditions. The construction unit reasonably optimized the processes and tooling, laying a solid foundation for Dongxin Station to be the first on the entire line to complete the main structure topping out.
