内蒙古伊东集团为内蒙排名第三的现代化大型综合能源化工企业集团，内蒙古自治区煤炭企业兼并重组主体之一。伊东集团总部坐落在鄂尔多斯市沙圪堵经济开发区，公司现有煤矿19座，其中直属煤矿13座(露采矿1座)，12座煤矿已建成年生产能力达到2000万吨，洗选能力1250万吨，集装能力2600万吨的资源节约型、环境友好型、现代化、标准化、高产高效矿井。到2010年公司新建6座煤矿全部投产，公司煤炭年生产能力跨入国家规划的5000万吨级大型煤炭生产行列。
