据了解，近两年来，陕西省建材工业稳中有进，各项经济指标平稳较快增长，规模以上建材工业总产值连续29个月保持30%以上的增速。今年1月—5月，建材工业在全省工业总产值占比为4.16%，同比提高了0.73个百分点。1月―4月实现利润总额11.26亿元，同比增长86.6%，增速高于全省工业83.6个百分点，拉动全省工业利润增长0.96个百分点。
在主要产品产量方面，前5个月水泥完成2972.82万吨，同比增长4.8%，其产值达到103.03亿元，同比增长14.6%，对全省规模以上建材工业增长的贡献率为17.45%，拉动全省规模以上建材工业总产值增长5.94个百分点。此外，全省的砖、瓦、大理石建筑板材、建筑陶瓷、防水建材、隔热和隔音材、轻质建材等产品都呈现较快增长态势。
