It is reported that during recent tunneling, technicians found that Lanzhou's unfavorable geological condition of "water-rich sand and gravel" is among the more difficult types of geological environments among metro-building cities nationwide. Therefore, the shield machine's tunneling progress cannot be too fast; various parameter data need to be collected while tunneling.

　　According to technicians, after a month of tunneling, they have collected a large amount of parameter data, which will lay a solid foundation for the full-scale construction of Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 1.
