(1) Pay attention to the operating condition within the first three months of new machine operation
During the running-in period of a new machine, operational checks should be carried out, such as maintenance of components, whether screws are loose, whether the oil temperature rises abnormally, whether the hydraulic oil deteriorates quickly, and whether the operating conditions meet the specifications.
(2) Do not apply load immediately after starting the hydraulic pump
After starting, the hydraulic pump must run idle without load for a period (about 10 to 30 minutes). Especially when the ambient temperature is low, a warm-up process is required to allow the hydraulic circuit to circulate normally before applying load, and confirm the operating condition.
(3) Observe oil temperature changes
Pay attention to checking the maximum and minimum oil temperature changes, and determine the relationship between oil temperature and ambient temperature. Only in this way can you know whether the cooler capacity and reservoir capacity match the surrounding conditions and operating conditions, and provide clues for troubleshooting the cooling system.
(4) Pay attention to the noise of the hydraulic pump
A new hydraulic pump has little initial wear and is susceptible to air bubbles and dust. Poor lubrication at high temperatures or overloaded operating conditions can cause adverse consequences and make the hydraulic pump emit abnormal noise.
(5) Pay attention to checking the readings of instruments
Observe at any time the pressure gauge readings of the hydraulic circuit, the vibration and stability of pressure switch indicators, etc., to detect as early as possible whether the hydraulic circuit is functioning properly.
(6) Pay attention to observing the mechanical action (for modified pumps)
Improper hydraulic circuit design or poor component manufacturing is not easy to detect in the initial stage of use, so special attention should be paid to the action states manifested under various operating conditions.
(7) Pay attention to the adjustments within each valve
Fully understand the use of pressure control valves, flow control valves, and directional control valves. Pay special attention to the adjustment range and limits; otherwise, incorrect adjustments will not only damage the machine but also pose a threat to safety.
(8) Check the condition of the filter
The filter in the circuit should be removed and cleaned regularly. Check the condition of the filter screen and the contaminants adsorbed on it, and analyze their quality, quantity, and size. This allows observation of the contamination level in the circuit and even inference of the source of contamination.
(9) Regularly check changes in hydraulic oil
Every one or two months, check and analyze the deterioration, discoloration, and contamination level of the hydraulic oil to ensure the normal functioning of the hydraulic transmission medium.
(10) Pay attention to leakage in piping
Whether the piping of the hydraulic device is good or not can be seen after a period of operation. Check for oil leakage and whether the piping is loose.
(11) Always pay attention to the discovery of abnormal phenomena
Abnormal noise, vibration, or abnormal signals from the monitoring system must have their causes. Once an abnormal phenomenon is found, immediately find the circuit diagram and follow it to carefully observe whether the abnormal phenomenon is caused by a temporary error. Evaluate whether shutdown is needed for handling. All factors such as pressure, load, temperature, time, at startup, and at stop may contain causes of abnormal phenomena. Analyze and discuss item by item in daily work.
