The exhibition center aims to promote ecological civilization and new urbanization, publicize and popularize the concepts of "green, humanistic, smart, and intensive," and serve as a base and platform for low-carbon, ecological, and smart technology exhibitions, academic exchanges, science education, and product promotion across the province and the country.

　　The center has a total floor area of more than 5,700 square meters and is designed according to the national three-star green building standard, fully embodying green architectural design concepts. It adopts a recyclable modular steel structure system, an underfloor air supply fresh air system, and more than ten other green building technologies. The indoor exhibition consists of five halls: "Prologue Hall," "Ecological City," "Green Building," "Smart City," and "Beautiful Homeland."

　　Zhou Lan, Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, said that Jiangsu currently has the largest scale of energy-efficient buildings in the country, the largest number of green buildings and national-level renewable energy building integrated application demonstration projects in the country, and the widest coverage of green ecological urban areas and smart cities in the country. The successful opening of the Jiangsu Green Building and Eco-Smart Urban Area Exhibition Center will showcase the development process and achievement cases of green, ecological, and smart city construction in Jiangsu Province, and will help publicize and popularize green building concepts and technologies and enhance public participation and social awareness.
