北京时间7月2日凌晨消息，建筑机械及矿业设备巨头卡特彼勒公司（CAT）周一宣布，已同意收购总部位于瑞典的船舶推进系统制造商Johan Walter Berg AB，以扩大其先进航运动力产品的供应。
此项交易的财务条款未予透露。
Johan Walter创办于1929年，生产重型船用推进器和可调螺距螺旋桨。交易完成后，该公司将成为卡特彼勒航运及石油动力部门的一部分。
卡特彼勒预计此项交易将于今年第三季度完成。
