On March 7, the Jinan Federation of Trade Unions held the eighth plenary session of its 16th committee, at which the Group Company Labor Union was awarded the 2017 Jinan Labor Union Work Innovation Award.
In 2017, under the correct leadership of the Group Company Party Committee and the higher-level labor union, the Sinotruk Labor Union actively implemented the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, deeply studied and grasped the spirit of the “Reform Plan for Building the Industrial Worker Workforce in the New Era,” and, centering on the deployment of the “Sinotruk Grand Project of Re-creation and Development,” pooled its strength and pursued reform and innovation. It carried out a large amount of work in promoting enterprise development, improving worker quality, safeguarding workers' rights and interests, fostering enterprise harmony, and enriching workers' spiritual and cultural life, which better mobilized the enthusiasm and creativity of the broad workforce and better gave play to workers' sense of being masters and their role as the main force, and won full recognition from the Jinan Federation of Trade Unions. In particular, by extending the reach of its work and cultivating highlight brands, it gave full play to the role of associations such as the Operator Association, the Marketer Association, the Worker Innovation Studio Association, and the Innovation Method Research Society, carried forward the spirit of craftsmanship, built up Sinotruk craftsmen, and focused on solving practical difficulties in production and operation, making positive contributions to accelerating the conversion of old and new growth drivers and realizing the Sinotruk Grand Project of Re-creation and Development, and winning high praise from the Jinan Federation of Trade Unions.
