On February 26, after intensive preliminary construction, the underpass tunnel at Yulin Railway Station in Guangxi opened to traffic. Currently, all minibus waiting points for routes from Yulin Station to Bobai, Luchuan, Rongxian, and Beiliu have been relocated from Zhanbei Road into the Yulin Station underpass tunnel.

It is understood that the Yulin Railway Station underpass tunnel connects to Erhuan South Road in the south and Wanxiu Road in the east. With the tunnel open, passengers can take minibuses directly to the Yulin Railway Station platforms, or travel directly from the station platforms to Bobai, Luchuan, Rongxian, and Beiliu, further optimizing regional transportation. According to the construction unit, road resurfacing and asphalt paving have been completed in the northern section of the tunnel, while the southern section has not yet been paved with asphalt, and the entire tunnel has not yet been fully completed. To this end, the construction contractor, together with railway and traffic police departments, has imposed traffic control on the tunnel. Apart from operating minibuses, cars, motorcycles, and electric bicycles are not yet permitted to pass through the Yulin Station underpass tunnel.

The underpass tunnel is part of the Yulin Railway Station rapid reconstruction project. Once completed and open to traffic, it will further optimize traffic around Yulin Railway Station and enable vehicles entering and exiting the station to travel quickly.
