On January 30, the interlocking renovation projects at Zhaotong Station on the Neiliu Line and Mali Station on the Chengkun Line, constructed by the Electrical and Communication City Transit Company of China Railway Fifth Bureau, were safely switched over at 8:57 and 10:00 respectively. The interlocking signal systems and related supporting renovations, including communication and power, at both stations are now officially in operation.
The indoor and outdoor computer interlocking system renovation at Zhaotong Station on the Neiliu Line mainly includes the complete installation of new indoor signal equipment, while the outdoor existing interlocking scope of 34 turnouts remains; replacement of a total of 53 signal machines; replacement of track section equipment in 45 sections, along with supporting communication, building, and power renovation works. The interlocking equipment renovation at Mali Station on the Chengkun Line includes the complete installation of new indoor signal equipment; reuse of switch machines, installation devices, and switch gap monitoring systems for a total of 6 turnouts; replacement of a total of 12 signal machines; replacement of track section equipment in 13 sections, along with supporting communication, building, and power renovation works.
As it is during the Spring Festival travel rush, the switchover construction time at Zhaotong Station was reduced from 5 hours to 3 hours and 30 minutes, making the construction task very tight. To fully ensure the Spring Festival travel rush and the smooth early opening of the two stations, the Electrical and Communication City Transit Company of China Railway Fifth Bureau attached great importance, urgently mobilizing more than 130 engineering technical professionals from its ongoing projects to participate in the opening construction of the interlocking renovation projects at Zhaotong Station and Mali Station. Meanwhile, company leaders were on duty to command the construction, strengthened construction organization, scientifically prepared the opening construction plan, and fully equipped construction resources to ensure the smooth opening of both stations. All participating employees demonstrated the iron army spirit of "being able to fight tough battles, being good at fighting fierce battles, and being brave to win victories," meticulously organized on-site production, arranged the connection of each process, strengthened the management of work face relocation, did a good job in work face construction preparation, improved construction efficiency, strengthened progress target management, established a global awareness, and adhered to the key node schedule targets of key projects. Each construction team decomposed plans according to node requirements, implemented responsibilities, strengthened logistical support, ensured material supply, reduced transportation links, improved transportation capacity, and created conditions for rapid construction progress. The company strengthened safety risk management, implemented the three-level safety guarantee system of the project department, construction team, and work team, established a safety and quality responsibility system that extends horizontally to the edges and vertically to the bottom, signed safety production guarantee responsibility letters at each level, and implemented the safety risk management system. It increased control and implementation efforts, urged on-site construction to hold the pre-shift "three meetings," and took timely prevention and control measures针对 safety systems, construction site environment, engineering construction characteristics, and possible unsafe factors. It increased safety hazard inspections in key operation areas, key parts, and key operation specialties to ensure that various safety risk prevention and control measures are in place.
The simultaneous early opening of the interlocking renovation projects at Zhaotong Station on the Neiliu Line and Mali Station on the Chengkun Line of Chengdu Railway Bureau has received unanimous affirmation and praise from the construction unit and cooperating units, fully demonstrating the construction strength of the Electrical and Communication City Transit Company of China Railway Fifth Bureau, creating a good reputation, and laying a solid foundation for future sustainable market development.
