On the morning of February 1, Zhengzhou High-tech Zone held the commencement ceremony for the first batch of 18 key projects in 2018 at the Siwei Information Rail Transit Industrial Park project site, with a total investment of 15.34 billion yuan and a planned investment of 6.09 billion yuan this year. These projects are the result of the High-tech Zone's continued efforts to focus on the industrial chain, lay out the science and innovation chain, improve the financial chain, and strengthen the policy chain while carrying out precise investment promotion. Once construction begins, these projects will surely further accelerate the High-tech Zone's efforts to build a new landscape as a national independent innovation demonstration zone and set off a new upsurge in accelerating project construction and achieving high-quality development.
The 18 newly commenced projects mainly cover maker parks and incubators, big data, the BeiDou industry, rail transit, convenience service centers, and others, including the Zhengzhou BeiDou Industrial Park Incubation Base (Phase II) with a total investment of 700 million yuan and the Henan Province Wire and Cable Trading Center with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. Among them, 7 are provincial key projects, 8 are municipal key projects, and 3 are county (city, district) key projects or other projects.
It is understood that this year the High-tech Zone plans to invest 26.2 billion yuan, start construction on 31 new projects, and conduct joint review and approval for 186 items. Next, the High-tech Zone will closely follow the working mechanism of "network planning - systematic consultation - one-time assignment - supervision and effectiveness evaluation," and provide guarantees in six areas: service system, joint review and approval, factor supply, environmental optimization, parallel advancement, and overall planning. It will focus on building six major projects, including Yida, Liandong, big data, intelligent equipment, Xintian Technology, and Siwei Automation. It will continuously innovate ideas, optimize mechanisms, and strengthen measures to promote the rational allocation of factor resources for key project construction, the continuous optimization of the external construction environment, and the further improvement of service guarantee mechanisms. With project construction as the lever, it will drive sustained economic growth and make greater contributions to building the core area of the Zhengzhou area of the national independent innovation demonstration zone.
