On January 16, 10 tourist roads in Yichun City broke ground in a centralized ceremony. The reporter learned that the city plans to build 60 tourist roads from this year through 2022, with a total length of 1,179.7 km and a total investment of 21.39 billion yuan. Among them, 10 tourist roads, including the Yi-Wan Same-City Expressway, are planned for construction this year.
The 10 tourist roads that broke ground in this centralized ceremony have a total length of about 277 km and an investment of about 10.2 billion yuan. These projects will be built according to a tourist road service system integrating tourist roads, tourism services, industry development and landscape creation, incorporating the city's distinctive moon culture, Zen culture, hot spring culture, red history and culture, and natural landscape and ecological culture, comprehensively upgrading the existing landscapes along the tourist roads, linking scenic areas and attractions along the routes based on four distinctive tourism products—hot spring wellness tours, ancient-color Zen tours, cultural and creative tours, and ecological sightseeing tours—strengthening the connection between scenic areas and attractions and surrounding urban areas and the transportation network, and promoting the upgrading of the city's tourism industry.
