On January 23, it was learned at the city's transport work conference that this year, Changchun will complete an investment of 4.71 billion yuan in transport infrastructure construction, a record high.
This year, Changchun will build 300 kilometers of new rural roads, with the access rate of natural villages reaching 82.7%; continue the construction of 7 bus terminals; add or renew more than 400 buses, with the proportion of new energy vehicles no less than 30%, and open or adjust more than 10 bus routes.
In accelerating the construction of road network projects, Changchun will start construction this year on the Jiutai-Shuangyang section of the Economic Circle Ring Expressway and the Changyi Highway project, and advance preliminary work on projects such as the Airport Avenue, the Shitoukoumen Water Source Protection Area bypass of the Hunchun-Aershan Highway, the National Highway 102 bypass, and the Changchun-Shuangyang Expressway.
In accelerating the development of urban public transport, Changchun will, in conjunction with the successive openings of Metro Line 2 and the Beihu Line, comprehensively speed up the construction of public transport infrastructure, optimize the bus network and capacity layout, and improve public transport service support capabilities; vigorously develop combined transport services such as “air-rail”, “air-bus” and “road-rail”, advance pilot work on non-vehicle-operating carriers and drop-and-pull transport, and promote seamless transfers and efficient connections among multiple passenger and freight transport modes, ensuring smooth movement of people and goods.
In improving the quality of practitioners and service quality, Changchun will continue this year to strengthen the governance of taxi operating order in key areas such as airports, railway stations, passenger transport stations, universities, hospitals and commercial districts, protecting the rights and interests of lawful operators and the public from infringement.
