On January 19, the Chinese People's Liberation Army Army Military Transportation University and Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement at Sunward's headquarters in Changsha, Hunan. Major General Li Ming, President of the Army Military Transportation University, and Professor He Qinghua, Chairman and Chief Expert of Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., along with leaders and experts from relevant departments of both sides, attended the event.

To thoroughly implement the strategic thinking on deepening military-civilian integration in the new era, the Army Military Transportation University and Sunward, after multiple mutual visits and in-depth exchanges in the earlier stage, focused on the fields of land and air unmanned systems and engineering equipment, and established a strategic partnership featuring long-term cooperation, complementary advantages, and joint pursuit of in-depth military-civilian integration development.

Through this cooperation, the two sides will focus on integrating advantageous resources and leveraging their respective strengths in the military-civilian integration field to establish a long-term and stable cooperation mechanism in areas such as scientific and technological information sharing, collaborative product research and development, transformation of technological achievements, and technical talent cultivation; carry out joint research in the fields of land and air unmanned equipment to practice in-depth military-civilian integration cooperation; and actively and jointly apply for and undertake national, military, and local scientific research tasks, leveraging combined advantages to contribute to technological innovation and product research, development, and production in military-civilian integration equipment across various fields for both sides, thus fulfilling the great mission of building a prosperous country and a strong military.

It is understood that the Army Military Transportation University is the only highest-level institution of the Chinese military dedicated to cultivating military transportation talents for the entire armed forces and the Armed Police Force. It has outstanding technical advantages in the development demonstration of military vehicle equipment, research and development of key vehicle equipment technologies, and unmanned intelligent equipment technologies, and possesses a first-class scientific research and innovation team for military special vehicle equipment technology. It has achieved a number of excellent scientific research results recognized both within and outside the military, with its special vehicle equipment technology reaching the international leading level; many achievements have been equipped in troops in batches and have reached the international advanced level.
