The reporter learned that the right-line shield tunneling between Lishan Station and Zhenxing Avenue Station of the Nanchang Metro Line 3 Section 2 project was recently launched, marking that the project section has entered the stage of full shield construction.
The right-line shield for the Lishan Station—Zhenxing Avenue Station section was launched from Zhenxing Avenue Station and advances southward along Yingbin Avenue, crossing a full-face sand layer to reach Lishan Station. The section is 1,767.2 meters long, with a maximum burial depth of 23.1 meters and a minimum burial depth of 9.3 meters.
The geological conditions in this section are complex, and controlling ground settlement is difficult. To ensure the smooth launch of the shield, the project construction unit conducted a systematic demonstration of the shield launching, tunneling and receiving plans, repeatedly surveyed and verified the section geology against the design drawings, and strengthened monitoring and measurement as well as adjustment of construction parameters. More than 100 monitoring points were set up in total to accurately obtain ground settlement data.
