A Hit Success
After 17 years of technical accumulation and years of experience, Sparta's first HHP40 (600kJ) hydraulic pile hammer successfully completed trial piling on the Zhoudai Cross-Sea Bridge project. On December 7, during its first driving, it smoothly drove a steel pipe pile with a length of 89 meters and a diameter of 1.8 meters to the designated position. The total number of blows in 90 minutes was 2,393, with an average frequency of 26.6 blows per minute. The successful trial piling of this 40-ton hydraulic pile hammer witnessed another solid step forward in Sparta's large hammer development strategy!

HHP35 (600kJ) and HHP40 (525kJ) meet joyfully!
As the Zhejiang Pile No. 8 pile driving vessel of Ningbo Harbor Engineering set sail, and the HHP40 hydraulic pile hammer was busy preparing for trial piling on board, we encountered the HHP35 (525kJ) hydraulic pile hammer under construction not far away on the south main navigable section of the Zhoudai Bridge. This hammer was purchased by CCCC Road & Bridge East China Engineering Co., Ltd. in 2013 for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge project and has been in continuous service for 5 years, making great contributions to CCCC Road & Bridge's successful completion of multiple high-difficulty pile foundation projects such as the Donglei Expressway and the Guotai Wind Power project!
With the successful trial of the HHP40, our company's two large models of hydraulic pile hammers, HHP40 and HHP35, successfully met at the Zhoudai Cross-Sea Bridge. The two hammers face each other across the sea, their hammering resounding across the four seas, jointly contributing to the construction of the Ningbo Zhoushan Port Main Channel.
