Recently, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development organized a citywide major inspection of dust control at construction sites. The inspection found that most enterprises were able to raise their political awareness and strengthen implementation of responsibilities, formulated various dust control measures for construction sites, and achieved positive results. Among them, 16 projects achieved a dust control score of over 95% at their construction sites and all adopted new dust control technologies and measures, receiving commendation from the Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

In this major inspection, projects with good dust control conditions and outstanding results at construction sites, along with their participating units, included 16 projects such as Section GZQ-DQJGW-SG-003 of the roads, bridges, and pipe network project (municipal transportation) in the Beijing New Airport work area in Daxing District. Next, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will focus on implementing the 2017 Clean Air Action Plan of Beijing and the autumn and winter air pollution comprehensive treatment campaign, follow the overall principle of “positive guidance and pursuing advantages while avoiding disadvantages,” continue to publicize and report on units that have achieved positive results in construction site dust control, issue citywide commendations, promote advanced experience in construction site dust control, and take multiple approaches and measures to effectively carry out dust control work at construction sites.
