Currently, the urban-rural integration three major road networks and Changqing Road utility tunnel construction projects in Puyang City have been launched. Reporters visited relevant officials from the Municipal Urban Management Bureau to address public concerns about each construction project.

The 'Three Major Road Networks' project includes three sub-projects: the urban-rural integration road network from Puyang urban area to the industrial park, Puyang County, and Qingfeng County, totaling 26 roads with a total length of 102.4 kilometers and an estimated total investment of 4.97 billion yuan. Among them, the Puyang City to industrial park road network project includes 7 roads with a total length of 29.6 kilometers; the Puyang City to Puyang County urban-rural integration road network project plans to build 9 roads with a total length of 24.8 kilometers; the Puyang City to Qingfeng County urban-rural integration road network project plans to build roads with a total length of 48 kilometers.

Through the construction of the three major road networks, Qingfeng County, Puyang County, and the industrial park will be more integrated with Puyang's central urban area. At the same time, the road network construction will drive surrounding development and provide a new economic growth point for Puyang's economy.
Among the three major road networks, the roads launched in 2017 are: the east extension of Zhongyuan Road (Longxiang Road—Jingwu Road), the east extension of Shengli Road (National Highway 106—Jingwu Road), the east extension of Jianshe Road (Daqing Road—Jingyi Road), the south extension of Wenming Road (Shengli Road—Zhannan Road), Binhe East Road (Zhanqian Road—Puyang County boundary), Zhannan Road (Majia River—Changqing Road), Huimin Road (Changqing Road—Yumen Road), and the north extension of Longxiang Road (Lücheng Road—S101). Currently, Longxiang Road has started construction, and the remaining roads are in active preparation.

Through this two-year construction period, we will complete all 20 roads.
It is understood that the three major road networks are built according to urban road standards, and upon completion, all ancillary facilities will be fully equipped.

The Changqing Road underground utility tunnel and road drainage project is located in the central urban area of our city's utility tunnel system layout. It is a north-south mixed trunk and branch utility tunnel and is the first utility tunnel in our city. The project starts at Jianshe Road and ends at Lücheng Road, intersecting with multiple urban main roads such as Huimin Road, Shengli Road, Nanhai Road, Jianghan Road, Huanghe Road, Renqiu Road, Zhongyuan Road, Wuyi Road, and Subei Road along Changqing Road, with a total length of 4.1 kilometers and an investment of 500 million yuan. The construction scope includes utility tunnel engineering, road engineering, drainage engineering, lighting engineering, traffic engineering, and landscape greening engineering.
