As of June 29, five of the seven steel platforms for the main bridge of Jinfeng Bridge in Zhangzhou City have been erected, and pile foundation construction is in full swing on both the north and south banks and the main bridge.
The Jinfeng Bridge and connecting road project crosses the West Stream of the Jiulong River and is an important corridor linking Zhangzhou's urban area with the Jingcheng New District of Nanjing County. The project involves a total investment of 950 million yuan and a construction period of 30 months. The route is 1.95 kilometers long, with the main bridge spanning 1,122 meters and featuring dual three-lane carriageways.
To accelerate the project, the contractor, CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., has deployed more than 50 pieces of large machinery and over 100 workers, with multiple crews working simultaneously in 24-hour rotating shifts so that work continues around the clock. At the same time, to ensure the quality of the bridge's pile foundations, the contractor has adopted the "fishing construction method," using the trestle as a base to plant piles by the fishing method, laying a solid foundation for the smooth completion of subsequent milestone tasks.
