On the afternoon of June 12, the first pile foundation (1-1) of the Nahong No.1 Grand Bridge of the Mohan Railway project undertaken by the Second Company of China Railway No.5 Engineering Group was successfully poured. This pile is the first pile foundation of Section I of the China-Laos Mohan Railway project, marking a major breakthrough in the bridge and culvert works within the managed section.
　　The Second Company of China Railway No.5 Engineering Group is responsible for a 38.303 km section of the Mohan Railway, which passes through Luang Namtha Province and Oudomxay Province, and along the way passes through towns such as Boten, Nateuy, and Namor. The construction content includes 10.888 km of subgrade, 8,465 m/26 bridges, 19,775 m/8.5 tunnels, 3 stations, and related temporary facilities. 　　To ensure the smooth pouring of the first pile foundation, the project department organized carefully and refined the special construction plan, strictly controlling every process from drilling, hole formation, hole cleaning, rebar cage installation to concrete pouring; to strictly control safety and quality and achieve the first-piece demonstration, the project department formulated special preventive measures for possible problems in each process and arranged technical personnel to monitor the entire process, ensuring the successful completion of the first piece.
　　The smooth pouring of the first pile provides original data collection for later large-scale construction and sets a model for the next step of construction. The project department will take this opportunity to accelerate the pace, act proactively, and demonstrate the style of China's iron army.
