6月15日，南京中华路上的一座民国建筑开始实施整体平移，临时“搬家”。这座民国建筑是南京市文物保护单位，占地约1500平方米，主体结构重量3000多吨。由于江苏银行要在此处建造一个四层地下室，按文保部门要求，整栋建筑将向西平移37米，待地下室施工完成后，再抬升60厘米，平移回原址，工程费用约500万元。据悉，因保护需要而对民国建筑实施平移，在南京还是第一次。
