According to Foundation Engineering Magazine and Foundation Engineering Network News, yesterday a reporter from Foundation Engineering Network came to Wuxi and visited Jiangsu Wuxi Exploration Machinery General Factory Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jiangsu Xitan), and was warmly received by Zhu Rongjie, Assistant to the Chairman, Dong Yaping, Executive Deputy General Manager, and Director Ye Minghui. Jiangsu Xitan is located on the shore of the picturesque Taihu Lake — Wuxi. Clean and tidy production workshop
Under the guidance of Director Ye Minghui, the reporter from Foundation Engineering Network toured Jiangsu Xitan's lean production workshop. Upon entering the workshop, we were continuously amazed and impressed. With Director Ye's detailed introduction, we learned that the company's products now include seven major series of drilling rigs — core drilling rigs, anchor drilling rigs, survey drilling rigs, jet grouting drilling rigs, construction drilling rigs, water well drilling rigs — and a series of products such as tools matching the drilling rigs. Among them, the main introduction was the MDL150H full-hydraulic high-lift multifunctional drilling rig. This rig is a new generation full-hydraulic drilling rig capable of various construction processes such as survey, anchoring, and jet grouting. With stable performance, high efficiency, versatility, and convenient and flexible operation, it is widely used in construction sites such as subways, tunnels, high slopes, high-rise buildings, airports, and ground-source heat pumps, and has also been applied in deep foundation pits for pipe roofing, anchoring, jet grouting, dewatering, and other construction sites. It is an efficient and practical geotechnical construction equipment.

A key introduction also included the MDL-801 top-drive multifunctional drilling rig. Equipped with conventional alloy drill bits and other drilling tools, it can perform rotary drilling; the design of conventional button bits allows impact rotary drilling for high-speed hole formation; the design of simultaneous casing drilling tools enables casing drilling for hole formation. After touring the clean and tidy production workshop, we learned that this rig integrates leading technologies in the industry such as mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. It features high torque, high impact energy, compact structure, and energy efficiency, making it particularly suitable for soil and groundwater monitoring holes, remediation holes, sampling holes, and other construction; it can also meet the drilling construction needs of anchor holes and support holes in complex formations such as gravel and rock. It has been exported to multiple overseas countries and has won full recognition and high praise from overseas cooperative customers.
